Meet the Team
Sung Park
Sung has been executing this model his entire career. He was CEO and founder of Custom Clothing Technology Corp, the basis of the Levi's Custom Fitted Blue Jean program, and has built and sold companies spanning cosmetics technology, IoT, and robotics. He created Umagination Labs, a joint venture between IDEO and WPP, and is a named inventor on more than 30 patents. Sung is a catalyst at the MIT Deshpande Center and a mentor at the Harvard iLab and Techstars.

Kate Purmal
Kate has served as an independent board director and CEO, COO, and CFO for numerous technology startups and privately held companies, and has contributed to five successful M&A exits. She was previously SVP & GM of Digital Content at SanDisk, CEO of U3, and a member of the founding management team at Palm Inc. Kate has been a business school lecturer at the University of Michigan, Stanford, UCLA, and Georgetown, and has coached more than 100 technology and life sciences founders and CEOs.

Jeff Karan
Jeff is an expert in strategy, fundraising, corporate partnerships, and M&A. He is co-founder of WaveEdge Capital, a Silicon Valley healthcare and technology investment bank, and previously co-founded Ethos.io. Jeff began his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs and is a frequent speaker on capital raising, commercial partnerships, and M&A.
